Documentary: Miles and More Journey Teaser

Miles and More Documentary

40 Minutes

Synopsis Imagine…. three friends are crossing the world’s highest motorable pass – the Khardungla, poised at 5,486 meters on bicycle. Imagine their adventure of traveling on this road, pedaling 600 kilometer on an average altitude of 4000 metres, which is barely open for four months in the entire year.   What would be their level of endurance, passion and the will to travel in the Himalayan range? How transformational an experience it would be to cycle in the land of Buddhist monasteries, yak, pashmina and ibex?

‘Miles & More’ is a real-life film on the journey of three naive cyclists in the tough, yet fragile environment of the Himalayas. The film explores places and people in the remote areas of Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh through the lens of a theatre actor and a filmmaker. The film is shot in cold, barren land and on highest desert in the world. ‘Miles & More’ is an experience of expeditional fun, hardship and culture of various Himalayan tribes.
